What's in a number?

A phone number says a lot about you and your business. Do you want to be seen as local, national or global? Do you want to encourage calls with a free-to-call number? The right number can help create the right impression for you, and influence callers' behaviour in a quick and powerful way - at very little cost.

dmClub numbers can be combined with a choice of advanced call-handling services, including dmSwitchboard, dmCalls and dmAnswers.

0870 numbers (UK national-style rates)
0870's image, as with rates, is in transition. There is still some stigma associated with 0870, but they could be a good bet for the future as cheap-to-call numbers without regional bias.

07-D numbers ('world office' numbers)
Free and personal, mobile-style numbers (beginning 070058) with enormous flexibility. Perfect for business people or key employees in the UK or overseas, with free diversions to landlines in many countries.

Unfortunately since about 2010, international carriers (and some UK carriers) have been more and more reluctant to allow these numbers to be called, and so bar them. Probably it's because getting the tariffing correct is too difficult for them - and getting it wrong can be very expensive.

Even in the UK, they have been widely abused, and no longer have the support of Ofcom and much of the industry.

So dmClub no longer recommend the use of these numbers.

07-K numbers ('world mobile' numbers)
Personal numbers (beginning 070059) ideal for roaming business people or employees 'in the field'... with free call forwarding to UK landlines, UK mobiles* and landlines in over 180 countries. But see 0871, which can do much of this at lower caller rates.
