Please note that this technique uses the advanced mode of dmConnect12. If you then make a change from the basic mode control, you will no longer have the dual-OGM setup. If you need to make a change (eg. change divert destination) you must do it within the advanced plan editor.
Theory
- Request Addtional Personal Extension facility from support@dmclub.net
- Create an advanced plan... a) Has extra extension 302 (which will take calls when 301 doesn't answer or is closed) c) Make extension 301 transfer to 302 when no answer/closed WarningUse of additional personal extensions incurs additional usage charges. The rates as of June 2020 are: - Unused extension: £0 - Up to 30 mins in the month: £1 - From 30 to 60 mins in the month: £2 - Over 60 mins in the month: £4 The charge is applied shortly after the end of the month. It is your responsibility to ensure that sufficient funds are available in your main balance, otherwise it could cause your number to stop working (although you will get an email alerting you to the fact). |
Step by Step Instructions
> Clubhouse
> dmConnect12 service control
> Divert
Select Advanced to access Personal Switchboard Control
Click on "@Cn12 Basic" to bring up plan editor
Change name to "ExtraPX"
@Company subtab, set your opening hours
@People subtab, click the (+) at the end of the list to add personal extension 302
- Put in a name (eg. "Bob Mobile")
- Click "Adv Opts"
- Set Opening: Always Open
- Set up voicemail options as required (including email address)
- Click "OK"
@Phones subtab, ext 302
- Check "PSTN" and put in the mobile number (eg. "0777123456")
@People subtab, ext 301, Adv Opts
- Set Availability/When closed = "Play Closed Notice, transfer to extension", Select "302 (Person Bob Mobile)"
- Set Inbound Calls/On no answer = "Transfer to extension"
- Set Inbound Calls/Transfer to ext = "302 (Person Bob Mobile)"
- Click "OK"
- Click "Save"
