Emergency Relocation is a feature of dmGenU technology designed to improve uptime
Cloud-based VOIP servers are only as good as their connectivity and system uptime. Sometimes servers can fail and sometimes whole data centres can lose connectivity to the wider Internet. If your service is hosted on a server (UXHost) that fails or becomes disconnected, it will cease to work. If this happens, service may be quickly restored by transferring it onto a different UXHost.
This process can happen automatically, in which case you'll likely receive 3 emails:
1) Service Upgrade Notice - Scheduled
This means that a problem has been identified with the UXHost responsible for your service and the decision to relocate has been made.
2) Service Upgrade Notice - Started
This means that the relocation process has started. This will normally take about a minute.
3) Service Upgrade Notice - Complete
This means that the relocation process has finished. Your service should be working again.
