If you don't pay a renewal order on time, you will be sent various reminder emails. If after about 2-3 weeks (depending on calendar) payment has not been received, the system will begin to think that you don't want the number.
At this point, you get a final warning email - which can be augmented by an SMS message and you then have about 3 days to "change your mind" to save your number - just paying for it will be taken as indication.
If we don't hear from you, then an attempt is made to pay the number from any credit balance you may have in your account. Failing that, the number is cancelled.
