dmNews September 11: The Year Of 0207?
Welcome back! In this month's newsletter: the Year of 0207, a jargon-busting look at call hunting, and a reminder call to all you super-testers out there...
2012 - the Year of London Numbers
2012 will be a big year for London. Kicking off with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in June, followed swiftly by the London Olympic Games, 2012 will be London's year.
Whether extending your existing business into London or simply looking to catch some of the city's buzz, there's never been a better time to pick up a London number for your business. There's no need to pay for a London office - just add an 0207 number to your Clubhouse, and take advantage of London's 2012 place in the headlines to boost your business!
Get them while you can: Ofcom aren't issuing 0207 numbers any more - only 0208 and 0203. If you want an 0207 number, grab one from dmClub now while we've still got them in stock!
Moving away from London but don't want to lose your number? Call us and ask about porting to dmClub, so you can still benefit from the London code in the 2012 Year of 0207...!

Jargon buster: what is call hunting?
Call hunting is an essential dmClub feature. It does what it says on the tin: hunts for a way to connect your inbound calls. Call hunting is the key difference between smart call handling and a 'regular' phone line, where the call is either connected or goes to voicemail.
When you set up your dmClub service, you will have added one or more divert destinations in your Clubhouse. These are the numbers - for example a mobile phone, your home land line, a VoIP number - that receive inbound calls to your dmClub service.
When someone calls your dmClub number, the system will try and connect the call to one of your divert destinations. If it doesn't connect, the system will try another, in the order you've specified in your Clubhouse. When it runs out of divert destinations, it'll connect to voicemail.

Psst! Super-testers! Over here!
As we might have mentioned before, we're working on a brilliant new product, which should be ready for testing and feedback in the next couple of months. To help us make sure it works really well, we'd love you to help us polish it.
Here's the idea. We'll get some nice food and drink in, and invite you to join us for at dmClub Towers to have a play around with the new demo product. We're hoping you'll be impressed, but also that you'll be tough. Tell us what you like, what you don't like, whether you'd use it. Be as honest as you want: it's our chance to improve.
By way of thanks for your time, we'll give you £50 of account credit, and of course we'll reimburse reasonable travel expenses.
