Initial Setup ProTime for dmSwitchboard12
dmSwitchboard12 includes a free ProTime Initial Setup session. This is usually the best wayto get up-and-running quickly with the minimum effort, and will leave you with a working dmSwitchboard12.
Our ProTime consultants are experienced in all features of dmSwitchboard12, fluent at setting it up, and experts in discussing the 'business process' of company call handling.
Do the preparation
Do you have any high level objectives?
e.g.
We get 30% nuisance sales calls, is there anyway of directing them to voicemail
We want to identify new sales and give them the red-carpet treatment
We want to phase out our old 0871 number gently
We want to indentify sales leads from our new (an expensive!) advertising campaign
Think about your callers
Here are some tips on how to consider how people should experience calling you:
A) Think of 5 types of caller:
including:
The most valuable caller
The least valuable (e.g. someone who is trying to sell you something that you do not want!)
The most frequent calls
B) What is the value of their calls, and what is the best outcome?
C) What experience do you want to offer them
- When the right person is available to take their call
- When the right person is not available to take their call
Maybe actually type in the dialog that they should hear!
What are your teams and who are your people?
- What are their working hours?
- Names, emails and mobile numbers that we will put into the plan!
D) What are the questions that you have and what do you want demo'd
send these questions in advance, so that you can articulate them precisely, and we can have quick answers for you
E) Anything else that you need to know?
F) Would you like a recording of the session in your dropbox?
if so, please so let us know your dropbox email address in advance!
G) When you have completed this and are ready we can schedule a time
Complete the switchboard planning sheet
You must download and complete the dmSwitchboard12 Initial Setup (ISU) Planning Sheet, and return it to dmClub Support, before booking your ProTime session. This ensures that we have the essential information to set up a switchboard tailored to your needs, including peoples' names, phone numbers and email addresses.

Get ready for the session: share video, audio and IM chat
We use GotoMeeting.com for our ProTime sessions and AccuityScheduling.com to organise them.

Restrictions
When dmSwitchboard12 Setup ProTime is provided for "free" as part of another service it must be booked within 60 days of purchase, and the session must occur within 120 days of purchase. Otherwise the session will have to be paid for at the normal price.
