HowTo - Setup dmConnect12 with 2 OGMs

Disclaimer

Please note that this technique uses the advanced mode of dmConnect12. If you then make a change from the basic mode control, you will no longer have the dual-OGM setup. If you need to make a change (eg. change divert destination) you must do it within the advanced plan editor.

 Theory

- Create an advanced plan...

a) Has opening hours

b) Has extra extension 101 (which will take a voicemail when company is closed)

c) Make extension 301 transfer to 101 when closed

Step by Step Instructions

> Clubhouse

> dmConnect12 service control

> Divert

Select Advanced to access Personal Switchboard Control

Click on "@Cn12 Basic" to bring up plan editor

Change name to "DualOGM"

 @Company subtab, set your opening hours

 @Reception subtab, add reception extension "OOH"

 - Always Closed

 - When closed, take voicemail message

 - Put in email address for voicemail

 @People subtab, ext 301, Adv opts

 - When closed "Play Closed Notice, transfer to extension"..."101 (Reception "OOH")"

Save plan

Activate new plan

Then at General tab,

Select extension 101 - Choose file (OOH OGM) then "Upload File as OGM"

Select extension 301 - Choose file (Busy OGM) then "Upload File as OGM"
