dmConnect12 is a "3-box-solution" - this means that the service is handled by 3 separate components: inbound, switchboard, outbound. (see #1096 for a full explanation of the 3-box-solution)
Call records exist in each of the 3 areas.
Inbound - provided by dmConnect12 service
For calls to your number from the outside world (PSTN) - See the dmConnect/dmConnect12 control.
There is no charge for inbound calls via UK geographic numbers
Switchboard - provided by Personal Switchboard service
For calls being handled by a switchboard (including from VoIP handsets, Webphone as well as through dmConnect numbers) - see the Personal Switchboard call records. This can tell a lot (seriously!) about what happened to the call. There is no cost in this part of the service. You can access the Personal Switchboard control through the dmConnect12 number.
Note that if you use your dmConnect12 number with a seperate dmSwitchboard12 service, the switchboard call records will be in that control.
Outbound PSTN - provided by dmCalls12 service
- For calls being delivered by the switchboard to your personal extensions via PSTN
- Outbound calls/transfers to the PSTN
- dmAnswers14 services (FrontDesk and MessageDesk) are also billed here
For itemised list, see call records in the dmCalls12 control (In the dmClubhouse, also a link exists from the dmConnect12 control). Outbound calls to VOIP devices don't appear here - but should appear in the switchboard records.
Outbound calls to PSTN via the dmCalls12 service are charged - see #5102 dmCalls12 tariffs for full details
