How do I keep the costs of my Answers sessions down?+
Choose the Express mode, means that our agent is spending less time clarifying the detail, but you will have to listen to get the details yourself.
Keep your scripts simple.
Listen to the calls, and see if you can refind the scripts and greetings
Have crisp and succinct callers (not always easy!)
If you have a dmSwitchboard12, design your departments so that you can filter the valuable calls to particular teams/people, and only use dmAnswers on those calls. (e.g. New Customer Hotline gets dmAnswers, Office Supplies purchasing gets Voicemail)
Many other call answering services charge by the minute. Why do you only charge for 30 seconds?+
We have been offering customers a message-taking service for over 10 years and we know that many calls are handled within 30 seconds. We believe it is fairer to charge for units of 30 seconds rather than a full minute. Also FrontDesk calls can be very variable: handling an unattended call will normally take less than 30 seconds; attended calls will usually take 45 seconds, but in some cases may take less than 30 seconds, and in others over a minute. We believe that you will pay less overall with our 30 second billing.
Is it possible to pay by call rather than by unit?+
Yes. You can buy a dmAnswers14 Pak, which enables you to lock-in a fixed price per call. For more details please refer to dmNote #0018 or contact support.
I already have a dmClub Number - can I use dmAnswers14 with this number?+
Yes. Please contact support. They may need to upgrade your service, and in most cases the rental will remain unchanged.
Can I keep my old phone number if I sign up to dmAnswers14?+
Provided you can port your number across to us then yes, you will be able to use your existing number. Please call support and we will advise you how to arrange this. There will be a nominal porting charge and you will still pay the monthly rental (£3+VAT per number). Alternatively, you will be able to divert your existing number to your new dmAnswers14 number. Please be aware that following this option will involve a call diversion cost from your telephone provider.
What if I do not want 24/7 call answering?+
You will be able to set your office opening hours allowing any calls outside those hours to go to voicemail or just left to ring, whatever your preference.
Does the smartphone app work with both iPhone and Android?+
Yes. It is a browser-based app designed to work on mobile devices. It will work with any web browser.
Do you offer a free trial?+
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, which will cover rental period and up to £5 of calls answered.
How long does it take to set up?+
For most customers It is possible to set up dmAnswers14 in a matter of minutes. If you have sophisticated requirements then it could take up to an hour, allowing for you to familiarise yourself with the system and decide on your settings.
How do you ensure the quality of call answering?+
You can listen to the call recordings at any time to check for yourself!
